She was plain and majestic
Dancing in the summer rain
Twirling in her damp white dress.
Hoping to be free
On the third of march
I set out to sea
Dreaming of the dancing queen
Who I saw in
That summer rain
And I wonder
Where she is now
As I rock and sail under
These dense white clouds
But she will come to me
Even if it’s only by dream
And I’ve learned to cherish love
If only subconsciously
Oh I am waiting
On the summer rain
I am waiting
On the summer rain
