A Fresh One for Promotional Purposes #Capitalism

Here’s a fresh one, slightly sanded, but not stained. Sometimes that’s better anyway. It’s not in the book, but it’s on here for free.

Poems/Songs/Whatever out Sunday January 18th.

What does it mean
when your hands sweat
in the cold?
And what does it mean
when your eyes water
in the heat?
There’s a dust storm
on the horizon.
And outside a McDonald’s
a young man is starving, missing teeth.

But I’ve never known my way
through the wind.
I’ve never known my way
through the wind.

Can you see the ocean
as it breaks against your porch?
Can you understand me
when I say my knee buckles in the rain?
Blame it on arthritis.
Blame it on the weather.
Blame it on something,
other than more of the same.

But I’ve never known my way
through the wind.
I’ve never known my way
through the wind.
